Director of Marketing
A proud Mandeville/Covington native, Susie has deep roots in her community and a lifelong passion for animals. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Southeastern Louisiana University, Susie began her career in the non-profit sector as the Development and Volunteer Manager at Northshore Humane Society (NHS) from 2010 to 2012. She returned to Southeastern to earn her MBA, but in 2016, Susie returned to NHS, this time as the Director of Marketing.
With a unique blend of marketing expertise and a heart for helping animals, Susie has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of NHS. Her experience in both the marketing industry and non-profit work, combined with her certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and HubSpot Email Marketing, make her an invaluable asset to the team.
What she loves most about her job is witnessing firsthand the positive impact NHS has on the lives of homeless animals in the Northshore area, while being part of a supportive, close-knit family. Susie is also a dedicated pet mom to three "foster failures"—Miles, PJ, and her newest addition, special needs kitty, Dwight.
