Scott Quillin, Board Member
Scott Quillin and his wife Jane have been Mandeville residents for over 20 years. Scott is an Electrical Engineer working for Fluor Federal Petroleum Operations doing Construction Design and Management for the DOE Strategic Petroleum Reserve. He grew up in La Crosse, WI and attended the University of Wisconsin and the University of New Orleans, where he completed his BSEE.
Scott has volunteered his time and knowledge to many different organizations including the City of Mandeville Parks and Parkways Commission, the Planning and Zoning Commissions, the Fontainebleau Property Owners Association, where he was president for several years, the non-profit Gulf South Men organization, where he is a founding member and Treasurer, and through his local and national church where he dealt with innumerous volunteers and thousands of hours of volunteer service.
Scott and Jane have three grown children and a granddaughter. The oldest, Adam, graduated from LSU SVM and is currently an Emergency Room Veterinarian. His wife is also a Veterinarian, but enjoying her time with their daughter. Their second child, Kathryn is completing her third year at LSU Vet School and hopes to be practicing on her own in a year. The youngest, Matthew graduated from LSU and is currently a Campus Pastor there. With the kids gone, their cats, Nehemiah and Fluff have kept away the ‘empty nest’ feeling.
Scott can be found either in his garage building ‘things’ or out in the community helping others.
