Director of Development
Megan Haggerty most recently served as the Business Development Director for the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, where she managed event planning and membership relations. Prior to that, she was the Membership Relations Director at the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce in Slidell, further deepening her expertise in community engagement and business development.
Megan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of New Orleans in 2002, followed by a Master’s in Communications from the University of Tennessee in 2003. She is an active member of several local organizations, including the Steel Mimosas, Bring it Home Northshore, Hometown Heroes, and the Professional Women of St. Tammany. Additionally, Megan proudly serves on the Slidell City Council, where she is dedicated to the growth and well-being of her community.
A lifelong resident of Slidell, Megan is deeply invested in the future development of St. Tammany Parish. She resides in Slidell with her husband, Sean Haggerty, and their children—Sean Patrick, Alex, Mia, and Luke—and their beloved dog, Ben.
